Water running in rivers and streams is a rare sight in Cyprus, a pleasure reserved for a few short months, mostly late winter and early spring and that on a good year.
Even more rare is to see kayaks propelled by the power of running water, something that can be archived immediately after a heavy rainfall, before the water level becomes too low. As you would expect this is not exactly a popular sport, but for that handful of dedicated people these rare moments are more than a thrill and a treat.
They are experineces of a lifetime.
